For Physicians

Dermatopathology

We offer a comprehensive dermatopathology service for physicians in the community and those around the country.  Our laboratory within our Anheuser-Busch location at 1755 S. Grand Blvd receives and processes tissue.  Dermatopathologists are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  For more information, please visit the dermatopathology services.

Referring patients

Our board-certified dermatologists, surgeons, and resident physicians welcome the opportunity to assist in the care of your patients.  Our physicians offer special expertise in the treatment of contact dermatitis.  In addition to providing comprehensive general dermatology services, including the diagnosis and treatment of chronic systemic skin conditions, we have a team of Mohs-trained surgeons providing treatment of melanoma and other skin cancers, and cosmetic dermatologists leading the field in non-invasive treatments for aging skin, including laser surgery.  Our department also provides phototherapy, iontotherapy, patch testing, and many other diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Please visit our websites at dermatology.slu.edu or slucare.edu for more information about our physicians, how to schedule an appointment, and our office locations.

Grand Rounds

Physicians are invited to bring their patients with challenging diagnostic or therapeutic conditions, or patients with interesting or rare disorders, to our Grand Rounds meeting.  It is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 8:00 a.m. in the Anheuser Busch Institute Auditorium, 1755 S. Grand Blvd. Please call 314-256-3400 to notify us with patient information.  Please allow enough time for corresponding pathology to be obtained.
